Measure

Frame Dimensions

1. Measure you Image (-1/4”)- also known as your Window.
2. Subtract the Image Dimension from the Frame Dimensions.
3. Divide the Remainder by 2.

Mark

1. Mark the Guide Lines on the Back of the Mat.
2. Circle the Corners

Cut

1. The Outside of the mat faces out.
2. Set the Mat guide
3. Put mat inside.
4. Plunge the blade into the mat and push until the mat cutter guide line meets your pencil mark-
5. repeat on all side

Tape

1. Center your work
2. Tape work into finished mat
3. Back if desired.

Before you mat your final piece Cut a mat to fit a t 8x10 frame (colored- not black or white) before matting your final.
